Compare the classes

The nine classes side by side: what role each can fill, what it wears, which mechanics it has, which races can play it and how much is new in Forever. Filter it down to what you want to play. These are facts from the client, not tiers: nothing official can rank the classes yet.

Roles and armor are read from the beta client. Mechanics (a pet, demons, stealth, stances, aspects, forms, totems, auras) are the spells each class has in its spellbook. Blizzard has written deep dives for four classes, linked on their rows. Not sure where to start? The quiz asks seven questions and suggests the classes that fit.
