How camping works

  1. A campsiteA Basic Campfire turns a spot on the road into a campsite where players can rest together and get useful things done.
  2. What it givesVendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs. To get a buff you slow down, sit by the fire for a moment and get rested before you head out again.
  3. Up to three objectsNearby players add crafted objects to the fire, one each, up to three on a Basic Campfire. Those objects share a one-hour cooldown.
  4. Three per tradeEvery profession teaches three objects, at different skill levels. Each trade brings its own buff or use whichever of its objects you place.
  5. Better objectsThe most advanced objects come from blueprint recipes that drop from particular dungeon bosses.
  6. Bigger firesCooks learn upgraded campfires that hold five or ten objects.

Campfires and the Cooking objects

Cooking builds the fire itself. Each better fire holds more objects, and Cooking adds two objects of its own.
